Abstract: This dataset contains major, minor, and element abundances for plagioclase and pyroxene from Apollo 16 impact melt 60635,2. Major and minor elements were quantified by electron-probe microanalysis (EPMA) using a JEOL JXA-8200 at the Washington University in St. Louis' Earth and Planetary Sciences Microanalysis Facility. Trace elements were quantified by LA-ICP-MS using a New Wave UP-213 laser ablation system and a ThermoFinnigan Element2 ICP-MS at the University of Notre Dame's Midwest Isostope and Trace Element Research Analytical Center.
