Isotopic composition of Martian water vapour from SOFIA/EXES

The data in this repository includes the products from the analysis of spectroscopic observations of Mars made by the Echelon-Cross-Echelle Spectrograph (EXES) aboard the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) during four observing campaigns between 2016 and 2019. In particular, the data includes the derived water vapour column densities, as well as its D/H and 18O/16O isotopic ratios.The files included in this repository are:SOFIA_geometry.txt: File including information about the date and geometry of the SOFIA/EXES observations.SOFIA_products_*DATE*_DH.txt: File including the derived water vapour column densities and D/H isotopic ratios (as a function of latitude, longitude and local time).SOFIA_products_*DATE*_O18.txt: File including the derived water vapour column densities and 18O/16O isotopic ratios (as a function of latitude, longitude and local time).read_data.py: Python programme to read the data and make a summary plot (saved as SOFIA_water_isotopes.png).<br>
