Property of properties (from 01-01-2012)

This is an enrichment file of the housing stock on 1 January and contains information about the type of property, the type of owner and the habitation of a house. For use in the SSB, Team Vastgoed en Woningmarkt determines the ownership situation of residential objects with residential function once a year. According to the Basic Registration Kadaster (BRK), the owners are supplemented by the LV-WOZ linked to the Basic Registration Addresses and Buildings (BAG). The EIGENDOMYYYTABVV component contains the variables TypeProperty and TypeOwner. These variables are used to replace the variables VBOEIGENDOMBAG and VBOVERHUURDERBAG in the EIGENDOMWOZBAGYJJTABVV component. The advice is therefore not to use these last two variables anymore. For the figures from 2019 onwards, the Kadaster Basic Registration (BRK) will be used. As a result, part of the change of ownership (e.g. from rent to purchase) in the period 2018-2019 is not caused by an actual development but by the use of the new sources and slightly modified method. As a result of the switch to new sources, the variable quality ownership will no longer be applicable as of 2019. That is why the variable quality property has been emptied from 2019. The link between the BAG and the WOZ registration, the BRP and the Land Registry are used to provide the BAG housing stock with property characteristics over a certain period of time (rent/own/unknown). The distinction between BAG/WOZ and the BRP is determined on the basis of a link between BAG/WOZ and the BRP. For each dwelling object in the housing stock, the property situation is determined. The residence objects with unknown property that remain will be filled as far as possible using three derivation rules: a. using the property file of the Land Registry (QualityProperty=2) For code & #039;J ' (owner/resident): own home. By code 'R ' (renter is a legal person): rental property. b. using 'additional social security number ' of the owner in the WOZ registration and as WOZ code = 'E ' (QualityProperty=3)c. using & number of properties owned by owner ' (QualityProperty=4) This is a private home if the BSN and/or SupplementSofinr occurs less than 3 times and a rental property if the BSN and/or SupplementSofinr occurs 3 times or more than 3 times. If a change occurs in ownership (e.g. from rent to purchase), this change is only recognised in the following year. So if, for example, a rental property was sold to an owner-resident in February 2012, then this property is in the file 2012 as a rental property and only in the file 2013 as a home in the SSB. ### Population All residence objects (with stock type = 1 and INVOORRAAD = 1) at the moment 1 January in the BAG with a unique Rinobject number also called the housing stock. Population and definitions of the BAG are leading to the component. Population falls within the stock of residential objects (residentials) according to the BAG, as shown by the component LEVCYCLWOONNIETWOONBUSVYYYMMVV. The file contains on the combined key SOORTOBJECTNUMMER and RINOBJECTNUMMER the variables TypeProperty, Quality Property and TypeOwner. The variable TypeProperty indicates whether there is a rental home/own house/unknown property. The variable TypeOwner is an indication whether the owner is also the user, is a corporation or is an other landlord. The variable Quality Property shows the quality of the method by which ownership of a residence object is determined. For more details, please refer to the code list. The variable Number of Residents indicates whether the residence object is inhabited on 1 January and how many residents are registered. It is possible that this occasionally differs from the results due to the link with the Demographic components. In these cases, it is recommended to use the Demographic components.
