Capacity of Dutch accommodation, number of accommodations and sleeping places by region and type (from 01-01-2014)

The file contains the characteristics of the capacity of Dutch accommodation accommodation. By type of accommodation, characteristics are described such as number of companies, sleeping places, number of cottages, rooms etc. The data can be broken down by region & #039; such as: total Netherlands, parts of the country, provinces, major cities and tourist areas. Imputation of missing data is done on the basis of data from last year. If not available, the variables concerned are manually searched. For each type of accommodation, lower limits are maintained. ### Population Population includes accommodation in the Netherlands. This population is actively maintained by CBS. Main sources for this are the trade register (SBI class 55), farms with accommodation accommodation and various internet sources such as websites of chain companies, the Vekabo and Vakantieadres.nl. The population includes hotels with 5 beds or more, campsites with at least 4 tourist pitches, bungalow parks and group accommodations with a minimum of 10 sleeping places
