Municipalities, administrative communities, non-municipal areas (locations)

Administrative areas are representations of administrative units (local authorities). They are part of the ATKIS Object Type Catalogue (Administrative Territorial Units) and are thus generalised to the scale of 1:25000. Administrative areas are available for the districts of Bavaria, administrative districts, districts and district-free cities, administrative communities and municipalities.
