Eukaryotic Metatranscriptomes from the North Pacific Ocean (SCOPE-Gradients 2)

Poly-A selected metatranscriptome samples from the SCOPE-Gradients 2 expedition (MGL1704) from the 27 May to 13 June 2017. Triplicate samples of ~10 liters of CTD-derived seawater were pre-filtered through a 100 micron mesh and collected sequentially onto 3.0 and 0.2 micron polycarbonate filters from the surface mixed layer (~15 m depth) along a transect (from 25 to 41 degrees N) in the North Pacific along 158 degrees W.
