Urban Noise vs. Nature's Calm: A Swiss Study of Noise Annoyance and the Role of Residential Green

The dataset is available in two formats: a proprietary Excel file or non-proprietary csv files. Explanations on all variables (column names) in the datasets are given either in the second spreadsheet in the "dataset_zenodo.xlsx" or in the csv file legend_zenodo.csv. Methodological details on how the data was obtained and processed are given in the Open Access article. Note on the noise exposure: Only exposure for road traffic noise (RTN) was included in the analyses. Thus, the column B "lden_max" denotes only the RTN exposure at the participant's loudest façade point.
