Dataset for Cultural Capital Signalling and the Authenticity of Deconstructed Dishes
收藏资源简介:
Dataset from a 2 × 3 between-subjects experiment (N = 302) examining how a chef's signalled cultural capital and the level of culinary deconstruction jointly influence consumer perceptions of authenticity, attitude, and willingness to pay. Participants were randomly assigned to one of six conditions varying signalled cultural capital (low vs. high) and deconstruction level (baseline vs. low vs. high) of a cheesecake dish. The dataset includes raw scale items, computed composites, manipulation checks, demographic variables, experimental condition codes, and coded willingness-to-pay justifications. The primary analytical sample comprises 249 participants who passed an embedded attention check. Data were collected via Qualtrics and analysed using SPSS 27 with PROCESS v5.0.
