The project aim is to populate the national microbial repository. This includes investigation of the field outbreak, collection of biological specimens and, isolation, identification, characterization and Accessioning of the viruses of animal importance with the eventual aim of depositing in the national repository viz; National Centre for Veterinary Type Cultures (NCVTC), Hisar, India.
