RESILIAGE MultiAtlas community of community and environment relations data – co-mapped heritage, local practices and disaster risk reduction actors in the five CORE Labs

This dataset holds the 777 community-mapped places and practices shown in the RESILIAGE MultiAtlas, collected with local people in the five CORE Labs through participatory co-mapping and the Local Heritage Inputs: cultural and natural assets, local living heritage, the cultural natural environment and, for Karşıyaka, local actors, infrastructure and collective memories of disaster risk reduction. The data are published as they appear in the MultiAtlas, in anonymised form. This dataset was produced within RESILIAGE – Advancing holistic understanding of community RESILIence and heritAGE drivers through community-based methodologies, a Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action (grant agreement 101121231, topic HORIZON-CL3-2022-DRS-01-04, September 2023 – August 2026) coordinated by Politecnico di Torino. It belongs to the MultiAtlas (Task 3.3, SCORE Set) in Work Package 3 and is documented in deliverables D2.4, D3.3 and D4.2. The data were collected in co-mapping workshops and templates (D2.4), Local Heritage Inputs (D4.2) and desk research by the CORE Lab teams, and loaded into the MultiAtlas with the ingestion scripts of RESILIAGE-SW-07. They were exported from the MultiAtlas MongoDB and its S3 storage on 22 October 2026. The archive contains one GeoJSON file (WGS 84; 757 points and 20 lines), the same attributes as a UTF-8 CSV, 43 photos linked from the photo_file column with their credit and licence, and a README holding the data dictionary. Field names were normalised and duplicate fields merged. Only the 43 photos that are CC BY, CC0 or public domain, or that carry no third-party credit, are included; the 126 photos under CC BY-SA, GFDL or unclear terms are left out because share-alike terms cannot be combined with this CC BY record. Each included photo keeps its own credit. Participants' names and contact details were never stored in the MultiAtlas; groups are described collectively and testimonies are anonymous. Earthquake events are in RESILIAGE-DS-12. All RESILIAGE outputs are collected in the RESILIAGE Zenodo community and are accessible through the Resource Ecosystem for Community Resilience (RECORE), https://resiliage-ecosystem.eu.
