Assessing the optimal trajectory of oil extraction for Brazil: datasets and simulation results

Oil production and well drilling data from Brazilian oil industry.
The files contain the raw database, extracted from the National Petroleum Agency, and the step-by-step used to compute the production of pre-existing wells, the rate of drilling of new wells and their relationship with current prices and oil futures on the international market.
The files also make available the results of empirical tests and simulations of oil production trajectories based on an optimal extraction model.
