The dataset contains raw data to article entitled "Enhancing the tribological performance of MAO coatings through hydrostatic extrusion of cp-Ti"The files present the results of investigations of titanium substrates subjected to hydrostatic extrusion as well as titanium oxide coatings performed with scanning (SEM) and transmission electron microscopes (TEM), scratch tester, nanohardness tester, X-ray diffractometer (XRD), atomic force microscope (AFM) and wear tester. The files contain photographs of the samples surface topography, cross-sections/microstructures, chemical analysis of elements distribution, XRD patterns and images of scratched and worn surfaces.This data is presented in the form of .txt text files, .tiff/.png/.bmp files readable with popular computer programs like IrfanView, .xls files readable with e.g. Microsoft Excel and .pdf readable with Acrobat Reader.
