Dataset of infidelity behavior and related factors in a Honduran sample

The dataset includes demographic variables and three psychometric instruments assessing infidelity behaviors, childhood parenting perceptions, and narcissistic traits, each with established reliability. Data was collected in 2025 in a non-random sample of 399 Honduran adults (18 years or older). The following variables are included: Demographic Questionnaire: age (numerical), sex, romantic status, and sexual orientation. Multidimensional Infidelity Inventory (IMIN) by Romero Palencia et al. (2007)– Short Infidelity Behavior Subscale: 20 items, 5-point Likert scale (1 = Never to 5 = Always). Short Egna Minnen av Barndoms Uppfostran (s-EMBU), by Arrindell et al. (1999): 23 items, 4-point Likert scale (1 = No, never to 4 = Yes, most of the time). Subscales: Rejection, Emotional Warmth, and Overprotection. Short Dark Tetrad (SD4) – Narcissism Subscale by Paulhus et al. (2021): 7 items, 5-point Likert scale (1 = Strongly Disagree to 5 = Strongly Agree). The .omv file can be opened using Jamovi.
