This dataset is a multi-label classification of mRNA subcellular localization. It annotates the presence of mRNA in various subcellular compartments such as the nucleus, nucleolus, lamina, nuclear pore, cytosol, etc. The dataset is based on experimental results by Fazal et al. in 2019, collected using APEX RNA-seq technology. The data is represented in a multi-hot encoding format, with label positions corresponding to different cellular compartments.
