A Search for Pulsations from INTEGRAL Sources in the Norma Region

We propose to search for Xray pulsations from four of the hard Xray IGRsources that have been discovered by the INTEGRAL satellite. Our targets are inthe Norma region of the Galaxy and are candidate neutron star HighMass XRayBinaries. The sources are persistent in Xrays as evidenced by strong detectionsof all four during brief (virgul5 ks) Chandra observations that occurred during 2005AprilJuly. The proposed observations are critical to definitively identifythese sources as neutron star Xray binaries.
