"A Field-Captured Grape Leaf Disease Image Dataset Collected Under Natural Vineyard Conditions"

"This dataset presents a collection of 247 field-acquired grape leaf images captured during direct vineyard visits in Satara, Maharashtra, India, between June and September, corresponding to the monsoon and post-monsoon growing season. Images were collected using mobile phone cameras under natural outdoor conditions, preserving real-world variability in lighting, background, and leaf orientation.The dataset includes images from seven grape leaf disease categories\u2014Alternaria Leaf Spot, Anthracnose, Black Spot, Cercospora Leaf Spot, Downy Mildew, Esca Leaf Scorch, and Powdery Mildew\u2014along with a Healthy class. Disease labels were assigned based on visible symptom characteristics observed during field inspection.All images were standardized to a resolution of 224 \u00d7 224 pixels and stored in RGB JPEG format without applying image enhancement or data augmentation techniques. A structured CSV metadata file accompanies the dataset, providing image-level information such as filename, class label, image dimensions, source, environment, and preprocessing details.The dataset is intended to support research and educational activities in grape leaf disease classification, agricultural image analysis, and benchmarking of computer vision methods under real-world field conditions."
