资源简介:
The Bore Hole Temperature BHT (1026B) was deployed on 2009-09-01 at ODP 1026. ODP 1026 is a borehole site used to pinpoint an area within Cascadia. This device is a Borehole Temperature Logger. Borehole Temperature Loggers are instruments that record and store temperature data from a string of sensors. The sensors are spaced along a cable that extents hundreds of metres into a borehole drilled in the seafloor. The temperature measurements at various sub-seafloor depths are used to study the hydrology of the seafloor. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
