Four Excel spreadsheets are uploaded to this repository:S1. Dataset contain maximum centrum diameter (CD) and total body length (TL) from 1,912 individuals spanning 10 of the 15 extant lamniform shark species.S2. Dataset contains morphometric variables taken from Carcharodon carcharias (n = 114) (originally published in Wintner & Cliff 1999).S3. Dataset contain morphometric variables taken from lamniform species (originally published in Natanson et al. 2018).S4. Dataset contain measurement of vertebrae belonging to Cretaceous lamniform species.
