This work proposes a new theoretical perspective on gravity, black holes, and the accelerated expansion of the universe. Instead of treating space-time curvature as the fundamental cause of gravity, the theory suggests that gravity arises from an external influence of a higher, fourth spatial dimension. When massive energy accumulates in space-time, such as in black holes, the curvature becomes extreme, creating “holes” through which energy is transferred into the other side of space-time. This accumulated energy may correspond to what we observe as dark energy, driving the expansion of the universe. The paper explores the possible link between black hole formation, energy leakage into higher dimensions, and the finite expansion rate of the cosmos. Simple mathematical relations and analogies are provided to clarify the concept, alongside predictions about how energy might re-emerge during supernovae or other astrophysical events.
