Initial Orbit Determination of Low-Earth Orbiting Objects Using Multi-site Space-based Optical Observations

This data set is a collection of access reports collected from the Ansys System Tool Kit (STK) and used for initial orbit determination. Single-site and multi-site observations were simulated. The reports includes data on time ranges, orbital elements, position vectors and velocity vectors of the host satellite and the repective Resident Space Objects (RSO). All hosts are modelled after the Cascade Smallsat and Ionospheric Polar Explorer (CASSIOPE) satellite with an onboard sensor modelled after the Fast Auroral Imager (FAI) star tracker. The respective RSOs consists of ten LEO objects which are simulated using TLEs and are propagated over time using the SGP4 propagator.
