Identification of endophenotypes supporting outcome prediction in hemodialysis patients based on mechanistic markers of statin treatment

Differentially expressed genes and molecular pathways were identified after statin treatment in kidney cells and assessed in plasma samples of the AURORA cohort. The impact of statin treatment on various kidney cells was evaluated to identify enriched molecular pathways after gene set enrichment analysis. Selected biomarkers were assessed in plasma samples.
