Code Smells in React Projects of a Junior Enterprise

This is the Open Repository dedicated for the paper titled Code Smells in React Projects of a Junior Enterprise.Published for the Workshop on Software Visualization, Evolution, and Maintanence (VEM 2026), co-located with CBSoft 2026. The repository contains a total of 3 items. 1) generate_spreadshee.py A Python script made to be executed when within a folder with all the .json files that were output by ReactSniffer2 and that one wishes to study. It'll go through each .json and generate a spreadsheet with comprehensive data for each project and smells detected. 2) smell_analysis_report.xlsx The final version of the spreadsheet utilized for this study. Adjustments were made after the spreadsheet was initially generated by the script mentioned above, those changes were specified in the article. Any identifiable data for the projects was omitted (notably, their names), in order to maintain the anonimity of the JE responsible for the projects. 3) Code_Smels_Examples.zip This zipped folder contains 16 javascript files, all made with the intention of exemplifying and elaborating on each of the 16 smells detected by ReactSniffer2. They were not meant to be ran in any way and only exist to be read so the smells can be better understood.
