PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an inorganic decorative board provided with a deep， sharp uneven pattern on its surface and an inorganic decorative board thereof. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an inorganic decorative board 50 provided with an uneven pattern on its surface includes: a wet substrate formation process S1 for forming a tabular wet substrate having at least a surface layer constituted with a wet mat formed by wet type sheet making of a slurry involving a mineral fiber， an inorganic substance powder-like body， and a binder as its main component; a drying step S2 for drying the wet substrate to give a dry substrate; a coating process S3 of coating a softening agent comprising water on a surface of the dry substrate; after the coating process S3， a heat compression step S4 of heat compression of the dry substrate by using an embossing mold for curing the binder and for forming an uneven pattern on the surface of the dry substrate.
