Hepatoprotective Effects of the Ethanolic Extracts of Propolis (EEP) on Alcohol induced Steatosis via Inhibition of Lipogenesis and Stimulation of Fatty Acid Oxidation in Rats

Gene expression Array analysis has been an effective technique for exploring treatment-associated transcriptional changes in tissues. The main goal of this study is to explore the expression changes of transcripts in the liver tissue of rats which were treated with the ethanolic extraction of propolis (EEP) as well as alcohol. We aim to find a subset of genes which responded to the treatment of EEP and may be useful candidate genes in explaining the protective effects of EEP on fatty liver.基因表达微阵列分析（Gene expression Array analysis）是探究组织中与治疗相关的转录变化的有效技术。本研究的核心目标为分析经蜂胶乙醇提取物（EEP）及乙醇处理的大鼠肝脏组织内转录本的表达变化，旨在筛选出对EEP处理产生响应的基因子集，此类基因或可作为阐释EEP对脂肪肝发挥保护作用的潜在候选功能基因。
