A texture hydrography area is a flat area with complex drainage in which a set of portions of streams form an equally important arm interlace. These areas are seized if they cover more than 25 hectares and are located on the national territory. A texture hydrography area is located by faces. The French Guiana BDCarthage is maintained by DEAL Guyana. The structure of the database is identical to the metropolitan format.The Carthage Guyane BD is a version validated by the EIS but not by the IGN and therefore problems of incompatibility with IGN referentials can occur (and that an update “officialise” the Carthage BD with IGN validation).
