Analysis of the phenotypic and genetic diversity among Staphylococcus epidermidis isolates collected from private and public hospitals in South Africa

This dataset contains a list of tables and figures which summarises the results of the study. The tables includes, phenotypic data, genotypic data, raw data for the biofilm phenotyopic testing and a summary of the whole genome sequencing data. The figures contains a summary of the antibiotic resistance and virulence genes detected among the private and public hospital isolates of <em>S. epidermidis</em>. A dendrogram constructed from the isolates fingerprints obtained by pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) is also included to delinate the genetic relationship between the private and public hospital isolates of <em>S. epidermidis.</em>
