Data for: Riverine Mg isotopes response to glacial weathering within the Muztag catchment of the eastern Pamir Plateau

Data set 1: Major ions, Mg isotopes, 87Sr/86Sr, saturation indices of calcite (CSI) and dolomite (DSI) of river and spring water samples collected during the high and low water discharge (Qw) periods within the Muztag catchment. Data of glacial rivers in Iceland, Greenland and South Island, New Zealand are from Wimpenny et al. (2010, 2011), Pogge von Strandmann et al. (2019a, b) and Hindshaw et al. (2019). Data set 2: Chemical compositions, Mg and Sr isotopic ratios in river sediment, eolian deposit, and typical rock samples collected within the Muztag catchment. Mg isotopic data for typical silicate and carbonate rocks (prefixed by ett) from Tipper et al. (2006a, b) are also listed.
