One-year prevalence of depression in South Korea 2021, by age group and gender

According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2021, around 5.4 percent of women in their seventies reported that they had struggled with a depressive disorder over the past year. This was in stark contrast to men in the same age group, of whom only 0.3 percent reported the same. Women across almost all age groups reported a higher one-year prevalence rate.

根据2021年在韩国进行的一项调查，大约有5.4%的七十岁女性报告称，在过去一年中她们曾遭受抑郁障碍的困扰。这与同年龄段的男性形成鲜明对比，其中仅有0.3%的男性报告了相同症状。在几乎所有年龄段中，女性的一年患病率均高于男性。
