Monitoring longevity of microbially induced desaturation (MID) in fine-grained low plasticity silts. The site was treated with MID in August 2019. Continued monitoring at the site has focused on the longevity of desaturation. Ongoing monitoring includes moisture electrical conductivity (MEC) sensors and seismic crosshole measurements. The data show sustained desaturation (less than 98.5% saturation ratio) until about June 2024, when sustained measurements of re-saturation (saturation ratio greater than 99.5%) are indicated by seismic pressure wave velocity measurements. Data may be reused to analyze MID in a field setting, for MID model validation.
