NRS-4929 | Conferences of medical officers of health and directors of divisions: minutes of proceedings

Combined conferences of the chief medical officers for each of the six health districts in New South Wales, together with the directors of the various branches and divisions (eg. Division of Clinical Pathology and Medical Research, Division of Tuberculosis, Division of Occupational Health) were held in Sydney three times per year. In addition, separate conferences of each of the two abovementioned groups were held at 4-6 monthly intervals. These volumes contain minutes of both the combined and separate conferences. Subjects discussed at the meetings include most aspects of public health policy and administration in New South Wales (eg. drug education, fluoridation, air and water pollution, incidence of infectious diseases, and the work of the School Medical Services).
