资源简介:
We observe enhanced magnetism in twisted (La,Sr)MnO3 membranes transferred to Si/SiO2 substrates. Specifically, samples exhibit a 20 K increase in magnetic transition temperature. Such an enhancement could be a sign of Moiré physics, signifying the stabilization of a flat band through electronic structure interference across the Van der Waals gap. Alternatively, it might be related to strong electron orbital overlap creating a pseudo-"thickness effect". Either case is interesting, but is expected to lead to different magnetization profiles i.e. enhanced specifically near the interface or more uniformly throughout the film. We propose to use PNR to distinguish the two cases.
