2D VPIC Data - Laboratory verification of electron-scale diffusion regions modulated by a three-dimensional instability

2D Cylindrical VPIC data to partially satisfy the data availability requirement of JGR: Space Physics.  See the full data availability statement for other data locations.

Each data file is in MATLAB .mat format and named for the variable it contains and the timestep it applies to.  The info file can be opened with a regular word processor (Notepad++ handles it well) and contains setup information about the simulation that can be used to recalculate the simulation size and parameters.  The timestep most relevant to comparisons with the TREX experiment is timestep #71 (where the layer passes the location equivalent to the TREX linear probe's R coordinate value).
