To investigate the effect of Tup1, Xbp1, Isw2, and Sds3 on transcription we generated knockout strains and measured their transcript abundance compared to wild type during diauxic shift and stationary phase. Overall design: Cells were grown in 25 mL YPD at 30 °C until they reached diauxic shift or stationary phase. We then compared transcript abundance between wild type cells and kockouts.
