Soil and litter-dwelling Coleoptera of meadow-steppe, transformed, and forest habitats of the Kremenets Mountains National Nature Park

The dataset contains a list of soil- and litter-dwelling Coleoptera collected within the Kremenets Mountains National Nature Park along transects established in preserved meadow-steppe habitats, transformed (afforested) meadow-steppe ecosystems, and forest stands. The aim of the study is to investigate communities of soil- and litter-dwelling Coleoptera in order to assess their bioindication potential for detecting early changes in meadow-steppe habitats, preventing their transformation and loss, and supporting the development of evidence-based restoration measures for these ecosystems.
