2009年在中国北极黄河站附近的A冰川和P冰川上钻孔埋设监测标杆,用于开展冰川物质平衡观测。所用设备为雪尺和密度秤。冰川物质平衡采取直接测量的方法,即在冰川表面设置固定标杆,定期观测冰川表面相对于标杆顶点的位置。发生倾斜的标杆首先测量标杆与水平面的夹角,然后计算标杆顶点距离冰川表面的垂直距离。通过此方法获得了各观测单点年净物质平衡值整个冰川的净物质平衡通过对冰川不同高度区间的面积加权获得。测量精度达到厘米级。 本数据为北极黄河站2009年冰川物质平衡观测数据,数据采用word格式保存,包括观测点序号、观测日期、经度、纬度、观测时间、花杆状态、花杆高度、雪层厚度和积雪密度等信息。

In 2009, monitoring stakes were drilled and installed on Glacier A and Glacier P near the Chinese Arctic Yellow River Station for glacial mass balance observations. The equipment used included snow rulers and density scales. The direct measurement method was adopted for glacial mass balance: fixed stakes were set on the glacier surface, and the position of the glacier surface relative to the stake tips was regularly observed. For inclined stakes, the angle between the stake and the horizontal plane was first measured, then the vertical distance from the stake tip to the glacier surface was calculated. The annual net mass balance of each observation point was obtained via this method; the net mass balance of the entire glacier was derived through area weighting across different elevation intervals of the glacier. The measurement accuracy reached the centimeter level. This dataset consists of glacial mass balance observation data from the Arctic Yellow River Station in 2009. The data is stored in Microsoft Word format, and includes information such as observation point serial number, observation date, longitude, latitude, observation time, stake status, stake height, snow layer thickness, and snow density.
