The European Union Emissions Trading Scheme and Fuel Efficiency of Fossil Fuel Power Plants in Germany

This is the replication code for the analyses done in "The European Union Emissions Trading Scheme and Fuel Efficiency of Fossil Fuel Power Plants". The paper uses confidential administrative micro data from the German Statistical Offices, which cannot be shared. Data access is limited to institutions of higher education or other institutions entrusted with tasks of independent scientific research, and is dependent on project approval by the German Statistical Offices. Upon access to the data set provided by the German Statistical Offices, the Stata and R files provided here can be used to replicate the results of the paper.
