Number of SMEs in Cyprus 2008-2022

In 2022, there were approximately 59,706 SMEs operating in Cyprus, with the vast majority of these (55,297) being micro-sized enterprises that employed between zero and nine people. Additionally, there were around 3,856 small businesses, which had between 10 and 49 employees, and 553 medium-sized businesses.
