A group of Maryknoll Sisters, dressed in grey with black veils, and postulants in native dress can be seen in the courtyard of the Maryknoll compound which is comprised of terra cotta-roofed buildings. In the forground is a wood fence separating the photographer from his subjects. In the background is a view of some other Peng Yang buildings.
