Summary of published range charts for Campanian and Maastrichtian ammonites from Seymour Island, Antarctica, and world-wide.
The relational database is managed by the CONMAN9 software for Windows. Component ASCII files include dictionaries of taxon names and event names, reference list, and one range-chart file per section, with local first and last occurrence levels. All data files and the manager are available in a Windows zipped folder [~700kb].
The data are augmented as new publications are found. Currently the database includes 192 published sections and localities, 4 published time scales, 674 taxon names plus 86 synonyms, 58 other events (marker beds, bentonites, paleomagnetic reversals, radioisotopic dates), and 110 literature references.
The development of the CONMAN9 data manager and the compilation of the data were funded by NSF grant OPP0338274 to Sadler.
