This data set contains information on collection sites at Explorers
Cove, New Harbor, McMurdo Sound. Comparative sites are also
described. The parameters are sediment granulometry, organic carbon,
chlorophyll-a, and images of the seafloor.
Data were collected during the 1999/2000 and 2001/2002 field seasons.
One objective of the research is to characterize this locality for
long term ecosystem monitoring, and to better define the benthic
community with an emphasis on foraminiferan protists.
