Household expenditure on dairy products Spain 2023, by type

Cheese was the dairy product on which Spanish households spent the highest amount in 2023, at around 2.8 billion euros. This marks a significant increase in expenditure (of more than half a billion euros) with respect to 2021. The following most popular dairy products were yoghurt — including those with active bifidus — , ice cream, and butter.
