This series records the results of post-mortem examinations of patients at Royal Park Hospital for the Insane (from 1934 known as Mental Hospital).Entries are arranged chronologically by date of post-mortem. The name of the patient and their age at death is recorded. In addition, the doctor performing the post-mortem would record the following information:clinical diagnosis,general appearances (of cadaver),circulatory system,respiratory system,alimentary system,excretory and generative system,nervous systems, andcause of death.In some cases the doctor provided diagrams of unusual features such as skull shape.
