The National Inventory Report presents a detailed methodology description of the Austrian air pollutant inventory for the greenhouse gases carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide as well as for industrial gases (HFFCs, HFCs, SF6). Austria thus meets the requirements for the transparent and comprehensible documentation necessary for the English reporting on the Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol.
