Leaf phenological type, functional trait, and isoprene emission capacity data for Amazonian upland terra firme forest trees at the Amazon Tall Tower Observatory (ATTO) site

The dataset provides information about leaf phenological types, several leaf functional traits, and leaf-level isoprene emission capacity data for 175 canopy-dominant trees located in upland terra firme forest plots at the ATTO site. Leaf phenological type data was obtained from an image-derived leaf longevity dataset (i.e., PhenoCam dataset) generated from a 136 StarDot RGB camera (model NetCam XL 3MP) installed on top of an 80 m high tower (INSTANT, 02°08.7520′ S, 58°59.9920′ W) facing west, which monitored upper-crown surfaces of 194 liana-free trees from July 2013 to November 2018. Leaf functional data and leaf-level isoprene emission capacity data were obtained from 15.10.2022 to 09.11.2022.
