Data set for: THE INCIDENCE AND RISK FACTORS OF CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASES AMONG PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV ATTENDING CARE AND TREATMENT CLINIC AT KCMC HOSPITAL NORTHERN TANZANIA

This dataset contains anonymized clinical and demographic data used in a retrospective cohort study investigating the five-year incidence and risk factors of chronic kidney disease (CKD) among people living with HIV (PLHIV) attending the Care and Treatment Clinic at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre between 2011 and 2019.The dataset includes individuals enrolled in HIV care during the study period and followed for up to five years. Variables include demographic characteristics, clinical parameters, comorbid conditions, antiretroviral therapy (ART) exposure, treatment adherence indicators, and renal function measurements used to determine CKD outcomes.Data were extracted from the REDCap electronic data capture system and prepared for statistical analysis. The dataset was used to estimate CKD incidence and examine factors associated with CKD development among PLHIV.All personal identifiers have been removed to ensure participant confidentiality. The dataset is shared to promote research transparency and enable further studies on CKD among PLHIV in sub-Saharan Africa.
