GPR146 is a susceptible gene associated with plasma cholesterol levels in humans, its physiological and molecular functions have not been fully characherized. In this study, we generated Gpr146 whole-body knockout mice and found that depletion of GPR146 led to substantilly reduced plasma total cholesterol levels. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression in liver of Gpr146 WT and KO male mice upon 6-hour refeeding after a 16-hour fast. There are 6 liver samples, each from an individual mouse. Liver tissue samples were collected from Gpr146 whole-body knockout (KO) mice and wild-type (WT) littermates of 24 week-old from the C57BL/6J background upon 6-hour refeeding after a 16-hour fast. n=3 for each genotype.
