Data used for the plots in the manuscript of the paper 'Distribution of Coastal High Water Level During Extreme Events Around The UK And Irish Coasts', submitted for peer review. These data are the processed file in .mat format. The original full data set  can only be access via contacting the Met Office. They are the UKC4 fully coupled model data (UKC4aow), and tide-only model run (UKC4gtt).

These data contain the coordinates of the coastal points used in the paper (longitude, latitude), and the values of the tide, SSH (tide+surge) and Hs at these coordinates .

The data behind figure 5, 6, 7 and 8 in the manuscript are also uploaded. These are the maximum Hs, Surge and tide at the coast expressed as a percentage of the respective maximum value found at the coast 'PercentageMax***.mat' (figure 5). The number of extreme simultaneous Hs and surges at high tide, low tide, 3h before high tide, and 3h after high tide expressed as a percentage of the total number of simultaneous events recorded during the winter at each location 'SimultaneousHsAndSurges_****.mat' (figure6 and 7; average all coastal values for figure 6). The mean and maximum hazard proxy values at the coast 'HpMean.mat','HpMax.mat'.
