Areas in the Netherlands 2005

The publication Gebieden in the Netherlands 2005 establishes a relationship between the municipal classification (lowest administrative level) on 1 January 2005 and various subdivisions of the Dutch territory on upper-municipal level. For the sake of convenience, these subheadings are used in addition to area classifications also taken into account the divisions of municipalities by size (inhabitant number) and urbanity.
