HIV-1 infected long-term non-progressors (LTNPs) can maintain normal CD4<sup>+</sup> T cell counts and remain asymptomatic for prolonged periods without antiretroviral therapy(ART), which is an ideal model for functional cure strategies. Recently studies highlighted the crucial role of miRNAs and lncRNAs in the pathogenesis of HIV-1 infection. However, there is currently no publicly available database providing integrated mRNAs, miRNAs and lncRNAs transcription information for LTNPs and their control typical progressors (TPs). In this study, we present a transcriptomic dataset generated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of LTNPs and TPs via RNA-seq approach, including expression profiling of mRNAs, miRNAs and lncRNAs. The LTNPs and TPs were recruited based on strict criteria to ensure the dataset reflecting the transcriptomic characteristics of prolonged HIV-1 disease progression. This comprehensive dataset will be valuable to research the roles of non-coding RNAs in HIV-1 disease progression, providing opportunities to find new drug targets for functional cure.
