The proposed retrofit scheme for pre-1970s non-ductile RC shear wall was investigated by using pseudo-static reverse cyclic loading protocol. Based on the measured results and test observations, the retrofitted walls showed excellent self-centering and minimized damage compared to the benchmark wall.
